A2 paper dimensions, defined in international standard ISO 216, are 594 by 420 millimeters, or 23.4 by 16.5 inches. A2 paper sizes are part of a group or series of paper sizes called ISO A, or ISO 216 standards. A2 is double the size of a sheet of A3 paper and is used almost exclusively for posters.

A2 is the paper size most commonly used for medium-sized posters, architectural drawings, and charts. A0-size paper is used for larger-format printing, such as posters and signage. The size of an A0 is 118.9 by 84.1 cm, which is a poster size of the bus stop type. A4 (210mm x 297mm) size paper folded in half will produce A5-sized paper.

If you have a larger poster sized at A0, folded in half, it will be an A1 size. The best size to use for your poster will depend on what you are going to use it for, and where you are planning on showing it.
